Parliamnetary Procedure Session at Wednesday Meeting

Thanks to panel: Ray Johnson, Joe Zafian, Don Logie. Thank to Jerry Aiyathurai (not present tonight).
Comment by Richard Frantz Jr: Expected to be educational but not entertaining. Pleasantly surprised, entertaining as well as educational. All members invited to December Wednesday meeting for next session even if missed the first session in November.

HPL Coordinator

Announcment by Club President Richard Frantz that pursuant to goals announced at beginning of year, to help people start and progress on HPLs, Paul Young has volunteered to be 'HPL Coordinator/Encourager' and will be available to assit people interested in or working on HPLs. Thanks to Paul for agreeing.

Perfect 10

Richard Frantz Jr: At district conference lunch were honoring clubs that made DCP awards: Distinguished, Select and President's select. But they had an even higher category: 'Perfect 10' for those clubs that made all 10 DCP points. "I was thinking, 'that's cool. I wonder if we could do that.'" Proposed to club to set great goals in order to have great success: Set goal of beign perfect 10 at end of year.

Obstacles: need 8 new members (already have some) for the final two points. Pointed out that many of memebrs are dual members who give their points to other clubs. Countered: That is because we usually don't have charter strength, but this year have charter strength.

International Contact Information

Review of memebr information at international so can use as basis of our contact information. Will update if people need it.

Area Joint Meeting

Area Governor Harvey Schroeder presented proposal to have CCAT host Area Joint meeting.

Some reluctance to do it at one of our regualr gourmet meetings, inspite of the exposure it gives the club.

Doug Cloutier expressed opinion that this should be planned at least 2 months in advance for proper PR and advertising. This makes December meeting too soon. People suggested various alternate dates in January to conincide with Spring kickoff and officer training. Suggestions that this should be a special event rather than a CCAT regular meeting.

Proposed to take discussion 'on-line' for further consideration.

December Meeting planning

Host: Lem Theme: Personal Favorite Date: December 20th

Grab bag confirmed as table topics. Target price set as $10. (See How we do a CCAT Grab Bag)

Concern that 'personal favorite' theme would result in all desserts. Proposed to assign courses and let people pick in that course. Decided instead to remind people when choosing item to be aware of what courses were already selected.
