Next theme: Most Creative Pizza

During discussion we concluded that by "broadening the definition of pizza" we could fill all the courses of a regular meeting.

There are dessert pizzas (I once made one that had a crust of boughten sugar cookie dough, spread with cream cheese and topped with strawberries).

Jerry has a recipe for tortilla soup he's going to adapt to pizza.

Elaine suggested a 'salad pizza' where the crust is replaced with a lettuce leaf.

A canape is basically an appetizer consisting of something on a bite size piece of bread, i.e. a very small pizza.

I was thinking of taking a pizza, rolling it up, putting it in a bread pan to bake and calling it a bread course with sauce on the side. I was disappointed to discover it already had a name, Stromboli, but I'm still going to make it and claim it is for the bread course.
